Competitions
JUNIORS
Juniors who would like to compete with other Clubs must be in the U11 age group and over. A Competition SkillEvaluation (Timed Open Water Swim) must be completed by 31 January, provided that the Participation Skill Evaluation has been completed prior. Juniors may wish to then participate in water events like club swims, interclub, local area or state carnivals. This is not compulsory!
SENIORS - PATROL REQUIREMENTS
To be eligable to compete in any competition a member must have a current SLSWA Bronze Medallion and not have any patrol hours owing to the Club.
To be eligable to compete in the State or National Titles, including Master's competitions, all members must have completed a minimum number of patrol hours between 1 January and 31 December, as described below:

Member who gain their Bronze Medallion during October or prior to the commencement of the season |

Member who gain their Bronze Medallion during November |

Member who gain their Bronze Medallion during December |
4 hours |
In addition, members must complete at least 50% of their own patrols to be eligable for State or National competition.
